International Competition postponed

A large chunk of WorldSkills New Zealand’s work is to arrange New Zealand regional and national skill competitions and field a New Zealand team for the International competitions.

Throughout the country our regional competitions kick off in May and June, so keep an eye out of dates and venues.

In usual circumstances, WorldSkills New Zealand has sent a New Zealand team to the internationals every two years. Last year the international competition, which was to be held in Shanghai, China was deferred to 2022. We cannot say for sure whether the 2022 international event will go ahead or if we will send a New Zealand team. If we are fortunate to be able to send a New Zealand team, we will invite the best age-eligible candidates from our regional and nationals’ competitions.
